I don't usually put a lot of effort into fancying up lunches for the toddler, but sometimes I do. And it delights her when I do!
Thursday, 11/7/13 - I'd been saving up all year, and made an order for new bento gear from BentoUSA (gift cards make a nice birthday gift. Hint hint.) One of the new items I got was a 4-animal sandwich cutter set. I used the cutter on just one slice of bread to make two little square sandwiches, and just used the kitty face press on both of them.
I also included a little kitty pick in her grapes.
Friday, 11/8/13 - I also got a CuteZCute Animal Palz set, which cuts and imprints bread and cookies (and melon, and fondant, and...) but also molds eggs! Fun stuff! I'm getting better and getting good results on gluten-free bread. This brand, anyway.
E was so enchanted with her panda sandwiches that when I tried to take pictures of her enjoying them, she thought I was trying to steal her lunch and tried hiding it from me until I went away.
