Tuesday, 5/21/13 - Random lunch for Mama! When I cut shapes out of beets and carrots, and the outer part stays intact, I save them for silhouette shapes! (The imperfect ones get chopped up and tossed into my salad mix!)
These were made with my flower veggie cutter and a fancy mouse veggie cutter. These intricate fancy veggie cutters are no longer being made apparently. *sigh*
Monday, 6/10/13 - Just a regular school day, the final week of school. Lunch to eat in the car outside of a nearby Starbucks while Baby napped during Z's afternoon preschool class. Teehee.
Organic pluot and golden plum, leftover GF French Toast casserole, organic salad (red lettuce, cabbage, kale, carrots, spinach, sunflower and chia seeds, raisins, hemp hearts, raspberry vinaigrette) |
I had some leftover Heels-and-Crusts Bread Scrap French Toast Casserole that the girls had rejected. I'm working on making an egg and dairy-free version. This one was either too banana-y or too soggy. Or both.
