Because I'm lazy, I tend to stick to the simpler MOMables menu items, like the MOMables Cracker Stackers. But I promise, the MOMables lunch planning menu service offers recipes, ways to prep ahead, dinner ideas and ways to repurpose leftovers into lunch, shopping lists, and more! If you want to give it a try, this link will get you 33% off a 3-month subscription! And now, all menu items have gluten-free, nut-free, and vegetarian options and sub suggestions!
I used a pink silicone divider cup to separate the sandwich bites from the strawberries. To jazz up the sugar snap peas, I added some carrot flowers cut with a flower veggie cutter. The sandwich bread and the cheese were cut with a mini flower cutter. I tend to cut the bread first, then add the fillings, both to keep the cutter clean (because I'm lazy,) and also so that the scraps remain "clean" to re-use for stuff like home-made croutons or bread crumbs... aw, who am I kidding? I only make Bento Scrap French Toast Casserole! YUM!
I opted for Cracker Stackers over a sandwich for E because she hadn't been eating her bread very often, but would eat crackers. Plus I had leftover ham flowers (cut with a many-petalled veggie cutter) from a potluck meat and cheese platter we took to her preschool.
The cheese was cut with a mini flower cutter.
