While this isn't the only (or even first) place I've seen the meat and cheese tortilla pinwheels, it was browsing through my MOMables weekly menus for ideas that inspired me to try these again.
Since Valentines Day is fast approaching, I went with a heart theme and used the pink lid with our new EasyLunchboxes Brights!
You can check out the directions and tips for making these pinwheels in the free 3-day MOMables sample menu. I secured each segment with one of my pink long heart picks. I only used the three middle sections for her lunch and saved the ends for me.
As a special treat (I always try to include abribe treat when I include broccoli,) I put some Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Seeds in a small pink dip box. They are soooo gooood!
The pink heart container came from Dollar Tree. They've been available the past few years around Valentines, and you get 8/$1! I hardly got mad at all when Hubby stepped on one and destroyed it. But don't tell him that. He still feels guilty... This could be used to my advantage...
