Life must go on, and I still have to feed my kid. And until she's old enough to understand, a sobering 9/11 themed lunch just wouldn't be appropriate. Nor would a fun one.
So just a moment of silence for all the fallen victims and heroes. And then enjoy the rest of your day, and celebrate the loved ones in your life, and the heroes that continue to risk their lives to serve and protect us every day.
